PIMS has the ability to communicate on the Internet, going both directions.  PIMS can automatically upload Inventory data that has been modified throughout the day to eCommerse sites such as ShopSite Pro, as well as periodically downloading Orders from such sites.

PIMS can also make data available to remote applications, in both XML and JSON formats.  Examples would be advanced links to external shipping systems (sending Orders, receiving back tracking numbers), Customer WEB Portals for the purpose of allowing Customers to view and pay Invoices on-line, allowing remote service partners the ability to create Service/Repair Orders (SROs) in your system for processing, etc.
